SET UP YOUR CUTTER

Serial to USB adapter
If you have an older cutter without a USB port and a computer without a serial port you can use a serial to USB adapter to connect from the serial port on your cutter to the USB port on your computer. If you are using a cutter and a computer that normally are not compatible with each other, in that sense that there is no USB driver that’s suitable for your computer, you can use a serial to USB adapter to bypass the need of the driver for you cutter. Once again we recommend an adapter with an FTDI-chip.

1. The adapter should be connected according to the pictures.
2. Install the driver that came with your adapter and restart your computer.
